Dr. Regulus holds the new Legionnaries "Hostage on a Hostile Star!"
On the new members of the Legion's inaugural mission, they are captured by Doctor Regulus. Holding them hostage, Sun Boy and other Legionnaires arrive to save their captured teammates. Wanting only to kill Sun Boy, Doctor Regulus releases all the other Legionnaires and battles Sun Boy one on one. The battle rages for some time but Sun Boy proves the superior fighter and defeats Doctor Regulus. Meanwhile, the original Legion Clubhouse, once the headquarters of the Legion of Substitute Heroes, has now become a Legion of Super-Heroes museum.
